2016 iFXEXPO set to be largest conference in history

In today’s highly diversified and technologically advanced online trading industry, the world has become a smaller place.

This has been made possible largely due to the high technology that allows technology vendors, brokerage, software providers, marketing specialists and platform companies to conduct business globally via remote means, however, there is no substitute for relationship building on a face to face basis..

..and where better to build new and further existing relationships than Cyprus, the number one region in the world for the retail FX industry.

Next week, the entirety of the global FX industry’s leaders will arrive in Limassol, Cyprus for the fifth iFXEXPO forex industry conference hosted by Conversion Pros, which spans three days during which industry debates will take place hosted by the influencers of this entire business, important topics will be covered, current affairs will be on the agenda and new developments will be unveiled, and most importantly, critical partnerships and vital deals can be done between every company from every nation, in one venue.

A new venue for an expanding FX industry

The iFXEXPO has been a lynchpin for the entire FX industry since its inauguration in 2012, and the corporate landscape of Limassol has over the last few years evolved into what is now home to the entire ecosystem that supports the FX industry from prime brokerages to liquidity firms, platform providers, sales and marketing experts, signal providers, integration and bridge providers and over 180 retail brokerages.

As a result, iFXEXPO International 2016 has a new venue, the Palais des Sports in Spyros Kyprianou, Limassol.

With capacity for over 6000 people, the new venue opens the floor for the show which was previously limited in space and options to grow. iFXEXPO will now host more than 95 exhibitors as well as multiple new sponsorships and branding opportunities for companies looking to grow brand awareness and engage with the broker audience.

Critical relationship building opportunities, and 3 days of insight from senior industry figures

Aside from the vital networking and relationship building opportunities that will be presented over the course of the 3 day conference, iFXEXPO will host no less than 54 speakers, all of whom are recognized senior industry figures in various specialist fields, in a series of panels and workshops, providing the audience with the current and up to date matters that are critical for those making informed business decisions.

FinanceFeeds today spoke to Gal Ron, CEO of ConversionPros, who explained:

“This event was kicked off with an expectation of change. One of the biggest changes is the new venue. Traditionally the show was held at one of Limassol’s seafront hotels. As much as this was a convenient location we recognized the need for growth. Not just in space but in overall venue usage and exposure opportunities for our Sponsors and Exhibitors. We selected the Palais des Sports Spyrou Kyprianou which provides the space and ability for our production team to have creative license with regards to making the show grow beyond its past housing.”

Commencing on May 24 with a welcome party sponsored by innovative binary options platform technology solution OSYSPRO at La Isla Beach Bar in Limassol, two further days will follow, with subjects ranging from electronic payment processing, through to the evolution of trading technology featuring senior executives from some of the most widely respected firms including oneZero, Leverate, and Integral Development Corporation.

In addition, workshops on how to increase business efficiently via MetaTrader and how to engage traders in the era of marketing overload will take place, with Advanced Markets Head of Institutional Sales Natallia Hunik holding court on what exactly is Prime of Prime and how to become one.

On May 26, the world of automation is on the agenda, with the avantgarde leaders of the technology sector taking a look at how to successfully automate sales funnels which in turn reduces operating costs and maximizes efficiency for brokers – one of the key topics for the entire year.

Education, regulatory matters and targeting customers via mobile devices and social media will complete the morning, before the afternoon branches into new territory, the unique top level domain (uTLD) code.

In the afternoon, social marketing and social trading will be looked at by various experts, including eToro COO Avi Sela, and Leverate’s Nicc Lewis who will participate in the discussion on how they have focused both on brand awareness and direct response. They will share their insights and views as well as take questions from the audience.

A mid-afternoon discussion on platforms will be chaired by SpotOption senior executive Tammy Levy, following which a very special keynote speaker will take the stage – this time CySec chairman Demetra Kalogerou.

At the end of the last day, La Isla Beach Bar will once again welcome attendees who will be able to network further, and reflect on the extra wealth of news, knowledge and current affairs that they gained at the conference, with Limassol’s fabulous seafront as a backdrop.
