“This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to innovation, and it aligns seamlessly with our vision of providing the best experiences to our global fanbase.”

AC Milan, one of the world’s leading football clubs, and Corpay, a FLEETCOR brand specializing in business payments, announced a strategic partnership that positions Corpay as the club’s Official Commercial Foreign Exchange Partner.

This collaboration marks a significant move for both entities in their respective fields, emphasizing a shared commitment to innovation and global engagement.

Copray supports over 145 currencies in more than 200 countries

Corpay is renowned for its capabilities in executing international payments and managing currency risks for global businesses. With an award-winning online trading platform, Corpay facilitates transactions in over 145 currencies and delivers to more than 200 countries.

AC Milan, on the other hand, has been a beacon of football excellence and has a strong legacy of adapting to meet the needs of its global fan base.

Maikel Oettle, Chief Commercial Officer of AC Milan, remarked, “This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to innovation, and it aligns seamlessly with our vision of providing the best experiences to our global fanbase.”

Corpay offers suite of online payment solutions

For Corpay, the partnership with AC Milan is a significant milestone that expands its footprint in Italy and the broader sports world. “With our strong focus on growing the Corpay brand, along with our corporate payments and foreign exchange business globally, we are excited by the opportunity to partner with one of the most successful football clubs in football history,” said Brad Loder, Vice President, Cross-Border Marketing, Corpay Cross-Border Solutions.

Corpay, part of the FLEETCOR portfolio of brands, is a global leader in business payments. The company offers a comprehensive suite of online payment solutions, including Bill Payment, Accounts Payable Automation, Cross-Border Payments, Currency Risk Management, and Commercial Card Programs.

The partnership comes at a crucial time when both AC Milan and Corpay are looking to expand their global presence and tap into new markets. It’s a win-win scenario that promises to bring value to AC Milan fans while also offering Corpay a platform to showcase its sophisticated foreign exchange and payment solutions to a wider audience.

AC Milan sponsored by BitMEX

AC Milan has recently extended its partnership with BitMEX, which now designates the crypto exchange as AC Milan’s premium partner, in addition to holding the title of the team’s official cryptocurrency trading partner since 2021. BitMex is also the first sleeve sponsor of AC Milan’s eSports team, AQM.

The BitMex logo will appear on the sleeves of both the men’s and the women’s kits in all competitions, including the UEFA Champions League.

BitMEX was reportedly paying €5 million annually for its initial sponsorship of AC Milan. However, the specific terms of the new extended deal have not been disclosed.

The deal marked BitMex’s first sponsorship deal in football and esports as the exchange looked to expand brand awareness beyond the digital asset domain. The collaboration offers the international Rossoneri fanbase access to a broader range of crypto services and products. As part of the sponsorship package, eligible AC Milan fans gain access to exclusive offers as both parties explore ways to engage fans.
