ACY Securities lures FX veteran Andrew Taylor to join AU business
Sydney-based FX and CFDs broker, ACY Securities has appointed FX industry veteran Andrew Taylor to the post of Managing Director, following a career of over 30 years in the financial industry.

Taylor will serve as a pivotal addition to ACY Securities’ senior leadership team to spearhead its growth in the relevant markets. Prior to landing at the Australian broker, he spent 15 months as General Manager at IC Markets. This was preceded by many other roles at different companies, mostly based out of Sydney.
Taylor brings nearly three decades of experience in leadership roles, the bulk of which was spent within the FX industry. This includes a total of seven years tenure at Tullett Prebon.
Over the past few years, he was involved in providing guidance and establishing business frameworks for the Australian business of Royal Forex. He was appointed to the role of CEO for the AU office, Royal Financial Trading Pty Ltd, back in 2014. Prior to RFXT, Taylor had been the COO of Invast Financial Services Australia.
Andrew’s career, which dates back to 1991, encompasses other senior roles including a four-year stint at GFT Markets, and as a business director at EasyForex, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
With a broad background in various capacities, Taylor’s experience and contacts in the sector will help develop ACY’s brokerage solutions for the APAC region.
ACY placing a big emphasis on FinTech
His appointment comes at a time when ACY Securities is placing a big emphasis on FinTech based solutions. ACY’s sister company, Zerologix, is developing a social sharing charting platform, called Finlogix.
As such, the company expects to leverage Taylor’s experience to help strengthen its global position as they expand their retail, institutional, and Fintech offerings.
Earlier in March, ACY Securities appointed Henrick Rajamountry as its newest head of marketing. Rajamountry is focused on further developing the global sales of ACY Securities’ retail and institutional business, as well as technology sales and client acquisition.
He is also be tasked with steering the company’s global marketing functions, which includes many responsibilities ranging from the execution of the brand strategy to its product development efforts, corporate communications, and digital marketing agenda.
