Adaire Fox-Martin joins Equinix’s Board of Directors
Ms Fox-Martin will also serve as a member of the Board’s Nominating Committee.
Global interconnection and data center company Equinix Inc (NASDAQ:EQIX) today announced the appointment of Adaire Fox-Martin to its Board of Directors. Fox-Martin will also serve as a member of the Board’s Nominating Committee.
Ms Fox-Martin has experience of more than 25 years in the information technology sector. She has served in leadership positions across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas in sales, business development, consulting and education. Currently, she is a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, leading Global Customer Operations. Ms Fox-Martin is responsible for SAP’s sales organization across the globe, with a resolute focus on the success of over 400,000 customers and over 14,000 employees worldwide.
She is responsible for a number of transformation initiatives at SAP, including those that have been critical to SAP’s shift to the cloud, and the creation of a new organization called Customer First, whose sole purpose is to ensure the customer is always at the center of SAP’s business.
As President, Asia-Pacific and Japan for SAP from 2014–2017, Fox-Martin ran the company’s multifunctional sales and operations organizations. Before joining SAP, Ms Fox-Martin held various roles at Oracle during her 15-year tenure at the company.
In October 2019, Equinix announced the appointment of Intel’s veteran Sandra Rivera to its Board of Directors. The appointment of Ms Fox-Martin marks further boosting of Equinix’s Board. Her appointment takes the number of directors on the Equinix Board to 11.
