Afer 9 years at ActForex, Anna Chaldysheva joins CME Ventures

Former Director of Business Development at New York’s ActForex has joined CME Ventures, the venture capital division of electronic listed derivatives exchange network CME Group.

Former Director of Business Development at New York’s ActForex has joined CME Ventures, the venture capital division of electronic listed derivatives exchange network CME Group.

CME Ventures focuses on early stage investments in emerging technologies including blockchain, cybersecurity, deep learning, and quantum computing, and Ms. Chaldysheva begins her position there as a Venture Capital Intern.

Ms. Chaldysheva’s move into the venture capital division of one of Chicago’s most prominent electronic exchanges represents the end of a 9 year tenure at ActForex in New York, which took her from her initial role as Business Analyst in 2004 to Director of Product Knowledge and Training in 2009 before being promoted to Director of Business Development in October 2013.

Leaving ActForex in August 2015, Ms. Chaldysheva spent 5 months in an internship program at Barclays before joining CME Ventures this month.
