Archax raises $28.5 million to expand FCA-regulated digital asset exchange, brokerage and custodian

Archax has raised $28.5 million in a Series A funding round led by abrdn, with participation from Bitrock Capital, Blockchain Coinvestors, CE Innovation Capital, Keiretsu Capital, Lingfeng Capital, Mathrix AG, SGH Capital and The Tezos Foundation.

The FCA regulated digital asset exchange, brokerage and custodian based in London was the first in the UK to allow institutional investors to custody and trade a variety of digital assets, such as digital securities and cryptocurrencies, alongside traditional securities too.

The firm is currently working on a range of regulated crypto exchange traded products (ETPs).

Archax scales up for launch and beyond
