BTIG appointed Bradford Ainslie as Managing Director, Institutional Equities

BTIG’s Institutional Equities team aims to maximize outcomes for market participants by leveraging relationships and accessing more than 50 global market centers, where BTIG sources liquidity on behalf of its 4,000-plus clients worldwide.

BTIG has appointed Bradford Ainslie as Managing Director within its Institutional Equities business to increase the client reach of BTIG and expand the ability of the firm to source liquidity.

Reporting to Richard J. Blank Jr., Managing Director and Head of Global Equities at BTIG, Bradford Ainslie brings over 20 years of industry experience having worked as Managing Partner and President at The Brightwood Group prior to the new challenge.

His career includes senior roles such as Executive Managing Director and Head of Global Markets at The Reorient Group and Executive Managing Director and Head of the Asia Equities Sales Trading Desk at Cantor Fitzgerald in Hong Kong.

Earlier in his career, he was an Equities Trader at Cantor Fitzgerald and a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley.

BTIG’s Institutional Equities team aims to maximize outcomes for market participants by leveraging relationships and accessing more than 50 global market centers, where BTIG sources liquidity on behalf of its 4,000-plus clients worldwide.

Specialized in institutional trading, investment banking, research, and related brokerage services, BTIG and its affiliates operate out of 20 cities throughout the U.S., and in Europe, Asia and Australia.

The company offers execution, expertise, and insights for equities, equity derivatives, ETFs and fixed income, currency and commodities (futures, commodities, foreign exchange, interest rates, credit, and convertible and preferred securities).

In December 2021, BTIG promoted Richard Jacklin to Chief Operating Officer of Securities, reporting directly to Scott Kovalik, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BTIG.

Richard Jacklin will focus on driving strategic priorities and capitalizing on synergies across the firm’s Securities division which is inclusive of equities, fixed income, currency and commodities platforms.

The new COO os Securities served in several key leadership roles with BTIG in both the U.S. and across the firm’s affiliate entities in Europe, Asia, and Australia, having most recently served as Head of Client Relationship Management and International Equities at BTIG.

Prior to BTIG, Mr. Jacklin was a Principal and Portfolio Manager within Equity, Foreign Exchange and Credit Public Investments at RP Capital Group.
