Ultra-modern, highly technologically advanced, and at the cutting edge of the world of financial services and technology, the FX industry heralds executives who are ambitious, enthusiastic and upwardly mobile.
In its relative infancy compared to the hierarchical, wood-paneled institutions of traditional banking, FX represents all that is urbane and fast moving, hence the lack of a metaphorical ‘glass ceiling’. With this dynamism comes the rise to success of several ladies whose prominence in senior management positions across the entire FX industry, from social trading, to interactive educational systems, to signal provision, platform engineering, events, and brokerage.
FinanceFeeds spoke to Yarden Fineman, Sales Manager at Traders Education, a company that provides unique marketing tools to brokers, affiliates and service providers within the financial services industry.
How did you get into the industry?
In the industry for close to 2 years and have been with TradersEducation for all this time. I essentially got into the industry working for TradersEducation.
Tell us about TradersEducation?
TradersEducation works with brokers worldwide providing unique marketing tools for each of their departments such as widgets, webinars, education, videos (broker channels) and the lot. The goal is to help brokers with the right tools to help convert new customers as well as retain customers more efficiently.
What are your views on the women within the financial services industry?
It has been viewed as a man’s industry and has been for years, however; in Israel women have been involved in the upper levels throughout all industries often holding the most senior level positions. I don’t feel that there is much inequality within the FX or tech industry in Israel and most firms I have visited women are very well represented.
What are your plans for the future? Where do you see yourself in five years?
LOL, not 100% sure, but I definitely see myself in the industry. I thoroughly enjoy working for TradersEducation, and driving the company forward. Our main goals are to expand into new markets including the UK and US markets, I want to be at the forefront leading this.
