Chris Hossain-Nelson joins INFINOX as Head of Institutional Sales

Mr. Hossain-Nelson is now joining INFINOX at a time of substantial business growth, having recorded a 61% jump in revenue and a 28% increase in trading volumes to $553bn in 2020.

Chris Hossain-Nelson has joined INFINOX as Head of Institutional Sales to accelerate the growth of its institutional and market making division, IX Prime.

The 25-year FX veteran is joining the market infrastructure and liquidity provider from Global Market Index (GMI UK), where he was Executive Director and, prior to that, Global Head of Institutional Sales.

Mr. Hossain-Nelson, INFINOX’s strategic hire to ramp up its institutional arm, is well-known within the FX and CFD industry. He led institutional sales of FX and CFD products, as well as spread betting, at FXCM during five years.

Prior to that, the name of the game was retail FX. He started in retail sales at Selftrade in 1999 and moved to Blue Index in 2004, before joining FXCM in 2008 as Head of Retail Sales, VP.

Then, between 2011 and 2013, the industry veteran launched and ran his own recruitment firm, specializing in placing Sales staff within the FX, Spread Betting, and CFD space.

Mr. Hossain-Nelson is now joining INFINOX at a time of substantial business growth, having recorded a 61% jump in revenue and a 28% increase in trading volumes to $553bn in 2020.
