Torsten Gellert, Managing Director for the German and Austrian region for British spread betting and CFD firm CMC Markets has left the company, and is yet to announce his plans following his exit from the company.

Mr. Gellert joined CMC Markets for the second time in January 2015 from FXCM Inc (NYSE:FXCM).

At FXCM, Mr. Gellert was Managing Director for Germany for five years between December 2009 and December 2014 before rejoining CMC Markets in Berlin.

Hi second stint at CMC Markets, Mr. Gellert had previously worked at CMC Markets’ German operations for two years between 2007 and 2009 as Managing Director for the region.

Mr. Gellert graduated from Perdue University’s Krannert School of Management in 2005 with an Executive MBA, following a Diploma in Mathematics from Technical University in Berlin, from which he graduated in 1997.

It is not known as to why Mr. Gellert left CMC Markets this time round, however he is seeking his next executive role.
