CoinDCX hires ex-Wells Fargo Divakar Prayaga to lead Information Security

CoinDCX has appointed ex-Wells Fargo Divakar Prayaga as Senior Vice President & Head of Information Security, a key role in building, scaling, and sustaining the firm’s systems to enable a seamless and safe trading experience.

The former Head of Cyber Defence at e-commerce giant Flipkart and the Vice President of Cybersecurity at Wells Fargo joins India’s first crypto unicorn in a time when the digital asset industry continues to onboard executives from traditional finance.

Steer CoinDCX’s information security strategies and governance processes will be Prayaga’s main job as well as spearheading an inclusive and comprehensive data protection programme to support development, research, and administrative information systems and technology.

Besides acting as Senior Vice President & Head of Information Security, Divakar will chair the Information Security Advisory Committee and lead the Information Security Liaisons.
