Coinme has appointed Brian Reisbeck as its new chief compliance officer in order to guide the organization in maintaining regulatory compliance standards during the next stage of its growth and international expansion.

The US-based cryptocurrency cash exchange has, over the past several years, expanded to offer the sale of bitcoin with cash at thousands of U.S. locations in 48 states. Last year, the company received licenses to operate in Florida, North Carolina, Connecticut, and Alaska.

The company said its central focus will be to continue working with regulators as it is poised for national and international expansion and onboarding new partners to make access to crypto with cash instant, affordable, simple, and trusted.

Brian Reisbeck, Chief Compliance Officer at Coinme, said: “I am honored to help in Coinme’s mission to continue creating the most compliant and user-friendly crypto experience for customers. I am looking forward to providing my guidance and years of expertise in international expansion efforts and helping the company to continue to navigate the ever-changing regulatory environment at the federal and state levels while supporting the growth of its products and services.”
