CONNEQTOR to collaborate with QUICK

Users of QUICK’s terminals will be able to connect to CONNEQTOR via dedicated lines used for QUICK’s existing financial information services.

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) today announces a partnership between its platform CONNEQTOR and QUICK Corp.

TSE notes the demand for a connection which enables highly secure communications for the purposes of buying and selling. As a result of the collaboration with QUICK, users of QUICK’s terminals will be able to connect to CONNEQTOR via dedicated lines used for QUICK’s existing financial information services.

Connections made via QUICK will incur no additional fees, and both initial and monthly fees will remain free.

CONNEQTOR is set to commence operations in December 2020. Investors are scheduled to be able to trade ETFs using CONNEQTOR through the following trading participants from the first day of operations:

  • SMBC Nikko Securities Inc.
  • Goldman Sachs Japan Co., Ltd.
  • JPMorgan Securities Japan Co., Ltd.
  • Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd.

At present, CONNEQTOR is provided in a test environment. Investors and market maker candidates are able to test the actual functionality to be provided by acquiring a test ID. The test period has been extended from the end of August, and testing is available until 23:00 JST.
