The latest version of the platform introduces exchange column in QSS and Spreadsheet Trader, and adds the ability to remove settlement prices from Time and Sales.

Provider of high-performance trading, market data, and technical analysis tools CQG has released a new version of CQG Desktop, with the enhancements concerning charts, trading and quotes.

Regarding charts, the latest version of the platform (4.1) improves data displays, as the cursor value box now shows data for last bar in view.

Users will also probably notice the reduced width of the left navigation bar, as well as the addition of last trade price column to Positions widget.

An exchange column has been added in Quote SpreadSheet (QSS) and Spreadsheet Trader. Further, users of the platform gain the ability to remove settlement prices from Time and Sales. Another enhancement is the addition of coloring for aggressor in Time and Sales.

Let’s recall that CQG Desktop Version 4.0 which was rolled out about a month ago, introduced new drawing tools to charts, these being trend lines and channels. Ichimoku and Directional Movement (DMI) studies are now also available to users of the platform. In terms of trading, let’s note the improvements to HOT. Two new buttons have been added to the HOT button bar.

CQG Desktop version 3.9 was released early this year, introducing horizontal and vertical line pointer tools (cursors) to charts. That version also saw the addition of a trading toolbar to the Spreadsheet Trader. The feature can be accessed in the task menu.
