ECOMMPAY increases focus on UK and Western Europe with new Enterprise Sales Manager
ECOMMPAY, an international payments service provider and bank card acquirer, has announced that it has appointed Mark Skehill as the new Enterprise Sales Manager for the UK and Western Europe.
They have also announced that their team has grown over the months and that they would be moving on to a bigger office in London to accommodate this increase. The company has been pushing through with its sales and business strategy to become the payment provider of choice for the merchants in this region and this appointment comes with a specific focus to break into new frontiers to further the sales growth.
Paul Marcantonio, Executive Director of ECOMMPAY, commented: “ECOMMPAY has taken great strides against the backdrop of a challenging year to propel both the company’s and our client’s growth forward. We continue to succeed in our mission to support our clients’ ambitious global strategies with tailored local solutions and hiring great talent is at the heart of that. Mark’s wealth of sales experience will be fundamental in not only helping ECOMMPAY to break into new sectors beyond travel and hospitality, but also as our clients expand their online business. His determination and leadership qualities are a superb culture fit for the team and will bring a fresh set of expertise when broadening our UK enterprise merchant network.”
Prior to joining ECOMMPAY, Mark had been working at Klarna as UK Merchant Development Manager and also at Think Smart as European Sales Director before that. He comes in with around 15 years of sales experience and the company would hope that he could use his experience to help with their strategic growth into newer regions.
Mark Skehill, Enterprise Sales Manager – the UK and Western Europe, said: “The opportunity to join ECOMMPAY at this stage of growth and be a key player in progressing the business is an exciting prospect for me, and I’ll be using my retail background from Klarna to help the company expand more into the retail sector. Across the board at ECOMMPAY, everything from their data-driven solutions, bespoke client approach, and easy-to-use infrastructure is seriously impressive and the business’s capabilities have a great amount to offer the retail sector. I’m very much looking forward to driving forward their presence in the market.”
With the digital payments industry expected to grow very strongly in the coming months once the pandemic recedes in many parts of Europe, ECOMMPAY would hope that they would be able to make inroads at that time and the hiring of an experienced person to lead the sales team in this region would be expected to yield dividends at that time.
