Exclusive: Former AxiTrader and City Index Sales Trader Russell Sandiford founds market commentary portal

A market analyst since 2002, with tenures at institutional proprietary trading firms in Sydney, and former positions at AxiTrader and City Index, Russell Sandiford goes it alone to provide market commentary to brokers and traders

Market commentary for brokerages and traders has become a major feature within the online information infrastrucutre that is available to all sectors of the FX industry these days, the latest example of which is about to go live very soon.

Established by Russell Sandiford, the new portal emphasizes Mr. Sandiford’s experience as a Chief Market Analyst, a career which he began in 1998 when he was 18 years old, tading ASX shares in his final year of high school.

Entering the fold under the name of russellsandiford.com, the new portal is due for imminent launch, and promises ‘expert market commentary’ from Mr. Sandiford, who is based in Sydney, Australia.

In order to found russellsandiford.com, Mr. Sandiford left Silverstone Proprietary Trading after two years at the company as Chief Market Analyst.

Prior to joining Silverstone Proprietary Trading in November 2014, Mr. Sandiford was a Sales Trader at promient Australian brokerage AxiTrader, with a tenure of three and a half years.

Joining AxiTrader from City Index in 2011, having spent almost two years at the firm’s Austalian division in Sydney between 2010 and 2011, Mr. Sandiford worked as a Sales Trader at the company, which followed eight years at Rusco Finance as a Stock Market Analyst between July 2002 and June 2010.
