After five years at Russian retail FX firm EXNESS, Victor Masalov has left the company, and indeed left the FX industry, having been appointed Technology Team Lead at electronic gaming company Wargaming.net
Mr. Masalov, who has 15 years worth of experience in digital marketing, mostly at senior level, joined EXNESS in July 2010 as Marketing Director.
In June 2013, Mr. Masalov was promoted to Director of Product Development, a position which he held for two and a half years.
During his tenure, Mr. Masalov was instrumental within the management team which collectively saw trading volumes soar from under $50 billion per month to over $200 billion per month by the third quarter of this year, as confirmed by auditing which was conducted by Deloitte.
Mr. Masalov joined EXNESS after almost two years as Executive Director of AUM Translation Services, a position which was preceded by three and a half years at Conteksoft LLC in Tomsk, Russia, where he was Project Director.
Having joined Simex-T as Head of Internet Marketing directly after graduating from Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics with an Engineer’s Degree in Automation of Information Processing and System Engineering, Mr. Masalov continued to further his academic education during his career.
He graduated from Tomsk State University with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 2013, and a completed a degree in Business Administration and Management in 2008.
