The FIA Expo 2022, which takes place in Chicago on 14 & 15 November, is one of the most prestigious events within the global derivatives trading industry.

FIA EXPO 2022

Exchange leaders, industry experts and key regulators will gather at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk to discuss the most prominent topics, and attendees will flock to the exhibit hall for the betterment of their networks and businesses.

This November, participants will have the chance to further their knowledge with the many panels scheduled, covering the “regulatory battlegrounds” in derivatives markets (namely crypto and retail products), the “Crypto Winter”, clearinghouse risk, standards in derivatives, treasury market structure, geopolitics on commodities markets, sustainability, regulatory enforcement, post-trade technology, and the future of derivatives trading (including 24/7 markets and DMA).

The Expo will also feature the seventh annual Innovators Pavilion, FIA’s annual showcase for fintech startups relevant to derivatives trading and clearing. Last week, FIA selected 10 startups to exhibit and pitch their products and run for the “Innovator of the Year” award: BeZero Carbon, Clouty Inc, Emmi, Exponential Exchange, Floating Point Group, Hxro, Kemet Trading, OrBit Markets, Tallarium, and ZeroBeta.
