Stationed in the Sydney office, Gazal will helm the company’s daily operations and channel operational excellence to bolster the organization’s growth blueprint. Her role is pivotal as the firm navigates the intricacies of the investment management realm to realize its expansion goals.

A veteran with over two decades of acumen in asset management and investment banking, Gazal is a significant addition to the First Sentier Investors’ cadre. Her journey to this appointment traversed through Perpetual Limited where she served as COO since 2020.

Amanda Gazal joins First Sentier after Perpetual, DWS, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse

Before her stint at Perpetual, Gazal was associated with DWS Group, a Deutsche Bank majority-owned asset manager, in Singapore. Her tenure at DWS Group saw her serving as the COO for Asia Pacific Distribution and Singapore COO. Gazal’s professional tapestry also includes notable roles in Deutsche Bank across Trading and Distribution, and as the COO of the European Emerging Market Debt Trading desk with Credit Suisse in London.
