FlexTrade promotes Dan Enstedt to Director of Sales EMEA

His successful period as Head of Sales APAC didn’t go unnoticed and FlexTrade is now counting on his skills for his new challenge in the EMEA.

Dan Enstedt is no stranger to FlexTrade. The new Director Of Sales And Business Development EMEA was representing the OEMS platform in the Asia Pacific as VP, Head of Sales since 2016.

Mr. Enstedt spent over five years, based in Sydney, Australia, making sure FlexTrade remained the leading OEMS platform in the APAC region, with a focus on the Australia and New Zealand markets.

He was responsible for establishing the firm’s Australian entity, office, and staff. His successful strategic business planning and execution of FlexTrade’s growth strategy in AU & NZ have made him a key figure in the firm.

Mr. Enstedt was also in charge of talent acquisition for both AU and NZ entities – Account Management, Support and Development teams – and partnership relations (including OMS providers, Market Data providers, Brokers, Exchanges, and other strategic partners).

His successful period as Head of Sales APAC didn’t go unnoticed and FlexTrade is now counting on his skills for his new challenge.

As Director Of Sales And Business Development EMEA, he will make use of his past experience in the APAC region and further expand
FlexTrade Systems’s products in Europe, Middle East, and Africa markets.

Prior to FlexTrade, Mr. Enstedt was Sales Director, Asia at SS&C HiPortfolio & Anova, where he helped deliver technology solutions to the global investment and wealth management industry, with an emphasis on post-trade investment lifecycle from data aggregation, performance measurement, and attribution and IBOR.

He also worked at Dion Global as Business Development Executive for four years based in Sydney, Australia. There, he offered tailored solutions for stockbrokers, investment banks, and other financial services players: Trading, Clearing & Settlement, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Messaging & Workflow, Messaging, Analytics, and Research & Information solutions.

Boasting broker-neutral, execution, and order management trading platforms for equities, foreign exchange, options, futures, and fixed income, FlexTrade has delivered high performance and multi-asset capabilities to more than 250 buy- and sell-side firms across the globe.

One of FlexTrade’s most recent partnerships in the EMEA was with Lyxor Asset Management, which deployed the FlexNOW EMS with the aim of trading several thousand stocks and futures across many brokers and algos in seconds.

The multi-asset execution and order management system is regularly updated for automation, more asset classes, and the ability to adapt to newer workflows.
