For Roger Hambury, two years at Gain Capital Holdings Inc (NYSE:GCAP) as Director of Institutional Sales and Trading has concluded, leading to his next senior executive position as Executive Director at British retail FX and CFD brokerage Alpha Capital Markets.

Mr. Hambury’s career in FX began in March 1998 when he joined IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG) in a directorship capacity, where he was employed for five years, until joining CIty Index in March 2003 as Managing Director for the EMEA region.

In June 2012, Mr. Hambury joined GFT Markets, which was subsequently purchased by GAIN Capital at the end of September 2013.

At GAIN Capital, Mr. Hambury oversaw the firm’s sales and trading division within its British operations.

Privately educated at Clifton College in Bristol, Mr. Hambury graduated in 1990.
