Registered in London but focused on Israel’s retail market, CFD company General Trade Global Ltd has appointed a new Director to its executive board.

With a series of senior business development positions with prominent companies under his belt, Andrew Riddell joins General Trade Global Ltd this week, following two years and seven months as a Sales Trader at London’s Amius Investor Services.

Prior to that posiion, Mr. Riddell spent six months as Business Development Project Manager at Switzerland’s MIG Bank in 2012, in the advent of the company’s takeover by Swissquote in 2013.

Mr. Riddell had held the position of Head of Retail Derivatives at London Capital Group Holdings plc (LON:LCG) between January 2010 and February 2012, preceded by a four year tenure at ODL Securities as Head of Commodities between 2005 and 2009.

Stretching back to the beginning of the millenium, Mr. Riddell was Head of Derivatives at Amerex Energy for four years, joining the company in September 2001 from Mitsui where he was Base Metals Options Trader and Risk Manager.

With over thirty two years of experience in the industry, Mr. Riddell’s inauguration to the world of electronic trading was in 1983 when he joined Paine Webb as an Options Trader, which led to a five year placement at the firm.
