Creativity is a virtue, especially in today’s online world of global business where value proposition is paramount and can often only be gauged via the few square inches of a computer screen.
As a result of the need to stand one’s business out from of the others, a whole host of companies have been established which provide consultancy and specialist professional services to take forward specific components of FX companies, from technology solutions to branding to retention and marketing, and of course, creative.
Today, another joins the fold as former Tradenext Creative Director John Evans becomes Managing Director of Or-be, a London-based company led by Mr. Evans which provides solutions to firms in order to deliver value against corporate budget for projects, business procedures, future-proofing and scalability, and reviews of existing systems and current technologies.
Based on these tenets, Or-be intends to provide multi-channel campaigns for its corporate clients.
Mr. Evans has significant experience in this specific sector, as he also owns a company in London called Add Something Change Something, which specializes in online multimeia conceptualization, design and development, as well as customer management system and CRM development.
Mr. Evans is perhaps most widely known in the FX industry for his previous position at Tradenext, where he was Creative Director for a year and a half between December 2013 and June 2015, when he left the company at the time that there were industry rumors that Tradenext was in the final throes of its existance.
An in-depth investigation by FinanceFeeds revealed that Tradenext is not at all in difficulty, and reported the exact series of events.
After leaving Tradenext in the summer of last year, Mr. Evans joined London-based FX & CFD firm Citypoint Trading, however he left the company this week, after six months at the firm.
Prior to his tenure at Tradenext, Mr. Evans was Design and Development Consultant at ODL Markets in London for two years, a position that was preceded by two years at Skyron Ltd as Web Developer and Designer.
In addition to his permanent positions, Mr. Evans has undertaken many projects for brokerages, including the relaunch of Abshire Smith’s commercial website, and the rebanding and repositioning of One Financial Markets’ website.
