FranceThe restoration of the French economy will remain moderate in the first half of 2014, according to the statistical office Insee. The Gross Domestic Product of France will probably grow with 0.7% in mid-year, compared to the growth of 0.3% in 2013. The economic growth in France will be 0.1% in the first and 0.3% in the second quarter of 2014.

Overall, the French economic recovery will probably delay behind the growth rate of the Eurozone in the first half of 2014,while the unemployment in the last quarter of 2013 comprised 10.2% from the active population, which is 0.1% less than the previous quarter. According to Insee, till the mid-2014 the number of unemployed should be stable at 10.2%. The inflation still remains very moderate, although the headline inflation is likely to increase as a result of rising energy prices.
