Last week, retail FX brokerage Vinson Financials rescinded its CySec licence and has continued to operate in other regions on an unregulated basis.
Indeed, CySec has most certainly strengthened its regulatory parameters and is now regarded as a top quality regulator, which oversees investment firms in Cyprus, the number one center in the world for retail FX.
With the comprehensive evolution that has created a very good environment for Cyprus to elevate itself to become a world center for retail FX is a very good byproduct, that being the abundance of very highly skilled professionals that now exist in the industry.
Vinson Financials has decided to go its own way without CySec licensing, however one of its more senior members of staff, Evelina Laurinaityte, left the company following its license renunciation and has now joined FxPro as Institutional Operations Officer.
Ms. Laurinaityte joined Vinson Financials in December 2015 from HotForex in Limassol, where she was Head of Affiliate Support for almost three years.
Prior to joining HotForex, Ms. Laurinaityte was Affiliate Manager at CanAffco in Vancouver, Canada, which is an affiliate marketing firm for online casinos.
Holding a certificate by CySec in Financial Services Legal Framework having taken the Advanced Examination, Miss Laurinaityte is fluent in Russian, Lithuanian and English.
