FXSpotStream’s trading venue, the aggregator service of LiquidityMatch LLC, has selected financial markets data science firm FairXchange for independent execution analytics.

The integration of FairXchange’s data analytics platform, dubbed “Horizon,” is set to bolster real-time analytics, facilitating more precise trading execution and in-depth analysis.

Horizon’s incorporation is also expected to assist FXSpotStream’s Liquidity Management team in managing relationships with both price takers and liquidity providing banks. Clients of FXSpotStream will gain insights into their execution, allowing them to refine trading strategies and strengthen relationships with liquidity providers.

FairXchange was founded in 2016 by Guy Hopkins, a former Bloomberg veteran and head of FX at Morgan Stanley. The data science firm specializes in microstructural analysis of financial markets and brings to participants better transparency around execution performance.

FairXchange, which has no affiliation with any liquidity providers or trading venues, is already being used by an extensive client base including a number of global financial institutions. The company’s analytical product, Horizon, analyzes all relevant transaction and pricing data and helps facilitate mutually profitable data-driven discussions with its liquidity providers and liquidity consumers.

“FXSpotStream is one of the undisputed leaders in the provision of aggregation services, a unique technology provider that delivers crucial efficiencies to the FX trading community. We are delighted to be working with them to deliver our award-winning Horizon platform, bringing together FXSpotStream’s trading services with our market-leading, independent analytics,” says Guy Hopkins, CEO and founder of FairXchange.

“We are always looking for ways to enhance our offering for both clients and LPs, and FairXchange’s Horizon platform will allow our clients to make informed decisions regarding their liquidity. FairXchange has developed a tremendous product and we are very excited to be working with them,” FXSpotStream Head of Sales, Antony Brocksom commented.

FXSpotStream provides a multibank FX aggregation service for spot FX trading. The platform operates as a bank-owned consortium that provides the infrastructure to facilitate the route of trades from clients to liquidity providers.

The company caters primarily to institutional clients, including banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and proprietary trading firms. Its client base spans across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, and it continues to expand its reach by adding new liquidity providers and enhancing its technology infrastructure.
