The resignation of the company from membership in IIROC is effective January 30, 2020.

The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) today announces that Global Maxfin Capital Inc. is leaving the organization. In a brief notice on its website, the body says the resignation is effective January 30, 2020.

Although IIROC does not elaborate on the reasons for the resignation, the website of the company states that the company has decided to cease its operations and that most of its advisors will be joining Integral Wealth Securities Limited .

Below is the full text of the announcement published on Global Maxfin Capital’s website:

“Global Maxfin Capital Inc. has decided to wind down its operations effective September 2019. After that time, we will no longer be available to provide you with any investment advice for your account(s) or have access to your accounts. We would like to thank you for your business with Global and for trusting us with your financial needs over the years. Your advisor is the best person to assist you with any questions or concerns you have, however, our Head Office team will gladly assist you during this period.
