Gold-i long-termer Ben Clark compliments Devexperts growing UK effort, joins as VP Business Development

After six years at Gold-i, where he helped brokers structure their trading systems, Ben Clark joins Devexperts as it expands its FX-centric technology range

Ben Clark is a familiar and friendly face among the technology providers within the FX and electronic trading industry.

Since 2014, Mr Clark has been very much instrumental to the relationship building effort between MT4 integration and trading technology provider Gold-i and its broker clients.

Today, however, a new milestone has been reached in Mr Clark’s career as he joins Devexperts at a time during which the company is strengthening its corporate prowess on British soil, as well as aiming a dedicated new product range directly at the retail electronic trading industry.

Trading infrastructure is vital. Ben Clark (left) speaks to Andrew Saks-McLeod and tech executives about how trade pricing, aggregation and liquidity relationships will fall under the microscope at The Ned, London, 2017

Mr Clark joins the company under Conor O’Driscoll, a seasoned FX industry expert, who is VP of OTC Platform at Devexperts, and alongside Mr O’Driscoll, Mr Clark will be based in London.

During his six year tenure at Gold-i, Mr Clark was instrumental in helping Gold-i’s clients which mainly consist of retail FX brokerages, to fill in the software gaps in their trading infrastructure, to allow multiple liquidity feeds and aggregation.

As Devexperts, a company more notable for providing institutional, proprietary trading and bank infrastructure and software across Russia and North America, expands its remit into the retail FX sector with its new dxTrade system, Mr Clark’s expertise and client facing knowledge is a very good synergy.

In his new role, Mr Clark will be responsible for growing the Global customer base of Devexperts for the company’s whole product portfolio, which includes exchange solutions, trading and wealth-management platforms. He will focus on DXtrade, the recently launched SaaS trading platform. DXtrade caters to Forex/CFD brokers of all sizes, from start-ups to companies looking to diversify their offering and gain greater control of their internal risk management.

Ben Clark commented: “I am thrilled to be a part of such an excellent team and eager to start working with Devexperts to build partnerships and provide companies with a powerful off-the-shelf platform and the unique ability to customize every part of it.”

Michael Babushkin, CEO of Devexperts added: “We are glad that Ben decided to join forces with us and offer the market the solutions and expertise it needs to go on to the next level and offer brokers alternative and innovative ways to attract and retain customers. With the addition of Ben, Devexperts has representatives in all geographical regions of the world and is ready to address every unique need of brokers and investment companies.”
