IBKR Asset Management becomes Interactive Advisors

The website address of the company has also changed its name to interactiveadvisors.com.

In line with previously unveiled plans, IBKR Asset Management, a part of the Interactive Brokers’ business “family”, has changed its name. As FinanceFeeds reported last month, the new name of the business is Interactive Advisors. If you check the website of the asset manager, you’ll see that the website address has also changed in tune with the new name and is now interactiveadvisors.com.

The mission to provide clients with the convenience of online investing, human help and a wide range of portfolios remains unchanged.

This is not the first time the asset management service changes its name. Back in August 2017, Covestor moved to a new website, with the traffic from covestor.com redirected to ibkram.com, in line with the name change from Covestor to Interactive Brokers Asset Management.

The plans for the renaming of Covestor were announced in July 2017 to reflect the fact that the company has been a part of the Interactive Brokers Group since 2015. Covestor noted back then that whereas the company will have a new business name, its mission stays the same and it will keep offering various portfolios, designed to help investors meet their financial goals, including the Smart Beta portfolios.

Speaking of Interactive Brokers’ advisory services, let’s note that the broker has recently launched the Advisor Portal, its new turnkey account management platform enabling advisors to manage clients and prospects.

Advisor Portal includes a free Customer Relationship Manager to manage the full client acquisition and relationship lifecycle. The CRM provides access from any desktop or mobile device, as well as the ability to store, view and update information about contacts, and easily manage funding transactions. Advisors can also manage client relationships with emails, notes, agendas, tasks, calendars and more. Advisors are also enabled to “drill down” to each client to set fees, view portfolios and run reports. They can also delegate user access rights by function and client account.
