IC Markets sponsors Rugby World Cup Sevens in South Africa

IC Markets has partnered with World Rugby in order to become a Global Partner for the Rugby World Cup Sevens, which takes place in Cape Town, South Africa from 9- 11 September 2022.

The sponsorship deal will come as an opportunity for the leading Forex CFD broker as its brand will benefit from high exposure with the masses since an estimated 165,000 fans are expected to travel to South Africa for the event.

The sponsorship deal will include IC Markets’ branding and ownership of the game statistics during the matches.

Brand exposed to 165,000 flocking to South Africa

The Rugby World Cup Sevens will take on a festival atmosphere on a global scale with a the three-day carnival of high-octane rugby sevens action marking the reopening of South Africa to tourism following the pandemic.

Rugby World Cup Sevens will be played over three days in iconic Cape Town and feature 24 men’s and 16 women’s teams from around the world. IC Markets joins DHL, Castle Lite, FNB, and TUDOR as a Global Partner.

IC Markets joined FinaCom as a member

IC Markets has officially joined the list of Approved Broker Members of the Financial Commission on November 24th 2021. Membership provides the brokerage firm and its customers with to access a wide range of services and membership benefits including, but not limited to, protection of up to €20,000 per client, backed by the EDR’s compensation fund.

The Financial Commission is an independent external dispute resolution (EDR) that provides services to CFDs, foreign exchange (forex), and cryptocurrency markets industry participants.

IC Markets will now benefit from the 3rd party mediation platform which helps resolve complaints in instances when parties are unable to directly come to an agreement over disputes.

Brokerages and independent service providers (ISPs) utilize the services of the self-regulatory organization to obtain a simpler, swifter resolution process than through typical regulatory channels such as arbitration or local court systems.
