iCapital taps ex-Microsoft Canada Magdalena Pandiloska to lead marketing efforts

iCapital, a prominent fintech platform in the global alternative investment marketplace, has announced the appointment of Magdalena Pandiloska as Chief Marketing Officer to help drive its worldwide growth.

Pandiloska joins the firm’s management committee and will report to Lawrence Calcano, iCapital’s Chairman and CEO. Concurrently, Christine Dusek takes on the role of Senior Vice President, Global Head of Communications, reporting to Pandiloska.

In her new role, she is responsible for overseeing the company’s global marketing and communications, which includes branding, advertising, content creation, digital strategy, event organization, market intelligence, and marketing operations. Her appointment is part of iCapital’s strategy to drive global growth and expansion in the alternative investment marketplace.

Before joining iCapital, Pandiloska served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Microsoft Canada, where she played a pivotal role in the company’s modern marketing transformation. Her career also includes executive marketing leadership roles at other prominent companies such as Dyson, TORLYS, Seavus, and Ein-Sof. Her expertise spans over two decades, showcasing a rich history of global marketing leadership.

Additionally, Pandiloska holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from St. Klement Ohridski University in Macedonia, Europe. She is actively involved in her community and has served on the board of directors of the MMBA basketball association and as a former member of the CMA MarTech, DEI, and B2B committee.

Pandiloska’s appointment at iCapital comes at a time when the company is positioning itself at the forefront of digital transformation in alternative investments. Her role is crucial in enhancing iCapital’s brand image and expanding its reach in the global market​​​​​​.

Christine Dusek will be responsible for iCapital’s global communications strategy, including internal and external communications, public relations, and corporate reputation programs. Her background includes leadership roles at a top strategic communications consultancy, Mylan Pharmaceuticals, IqVia, and Ruder Finn, and she began her career in investment banking at Bankers Trust Company.

iCapital, founded in 2013, is a leader in providing access to private markets investments for high-net-worth clients. The company offers a range of private investments and has been recognized for its contributions to the fintech industry. As of December 31, 2023, iCapital manages over $175 billion in global client assets, with a significant portion from international investors.
