His career includes roles at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), Liquidnet, Aon Consulting and Kroll Associates.

IEX Group has appointed Craig Resnick as Chief Financial Officer after serving two years as the head of IEX’s finance and accounting team.

Craig Resnick will be in charge of all financial functions for IEX, including accounting, audit, tax, treasury, corporate finance, and investor relations. He is a 20-year industry veteran with deep expertise in accounting, auditing, budgeting, and capital markets transactions.

Joining IEX’s leadership team as CFO, Craig Resnick will report to the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of IEX, Brad Katsuyama.

The executive move comes amid the departure of Sara Furber, who served as CFO of IEX since 2018, to Tradeweb.

Sara Furber led the company’s finance function and oversaw its new business portfolio, including technology businesses such as data platform IEX Cloud.

Brad Katsuyama, Co-Founder and CEO at IEX Group, commented: “We are thrilled to elevate Craig Resnick to the role as Chief Financial Officer for IEX.

“Since Craig joined us in 2019 as Head of Finance, he has displayed a deep commitment to IEX and its mission, has built a world-class team, and has proven to be an exceptional leader. We are also excited for Sara to take the next step in her career and wish her much success in her new role. IEX is a stronger company because of her contributions.”

Prior to IEX Group, Mr. Resnick served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), where he was responsible for all global financial planning and accounting functions.

There, he led several capital restructuring transactions and helped the company secure new private equity investment, which provided significant liquidity to shareholders.

Other key roles in his career include Assistant Controller for Liquidnet, where he developed deep expertise in finance and accounting for capital markets,  and senior financial advisory roles at Aon Consulting and Kroll Associates, where he focused on forensic accounting and litigation consulting.

Craig Resnick, Chief Financial Officer at IEX, said: “IEX is an exceptional team on a mission to reimagine how markets can work for all investors and, more broadly, how financial technology can accelerate economic growth in a responsible and equitable way. I’m honored to play a larger role helping IEX grow as CFO”.

IEX Group (IEX) operates U.S. securities venue IEX Exchange and cloud-based financial data platform, called IEX Cloud.
