Interactive Brokers mobile app adds more company fundamentals to Quote Details

Three new sections – Profile, Financials and ESG, have been added to Quote Details.

Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers has recently released a new version of the IBKR Mobile trading app for Android devices.

Build 8.4.91 of the app allows traders to access more company fundamentals data. The company has added three new sections to Quote Details – Profile, Financials and, ESG, with more on the way. To support these new sections, the layout of the Quote Details window has been redesigned.

To view Company Fundamentals, tap an instrument to view the thumbnail chart, then tap again to open Quote Details. Swipe up to see the new sections. Tap a section to expand and see key summary data. Tap “show more” to display comprehensive details.

This version is being rolled out to Interactive Brokers’ clients gradually.

The preceding version of the solution, released earlier in August, offers more sortable portfolio columns. A user has to tap the column by which the user wants to sort. Tap multiple times to change the sort order from ascending to descending. The column by which the page is sorted is underlined; blue underline indicates ascending order and red underline indicates descending order.

In addition to the current columns, new data points have been added. Traders can now choose to sort their portfolio by: Market Value; % of Market Value; Days to Expiration; Daily P&L; Unrealized P&L; Trading Currency; Change; Change %; Change Since Open; Change Since Open %; Position; Dividend Yield; and Dividend Date.

To add Portfolio columns one has to tap the “More” menu then tap the “Manage Columns” icon to the left of the Gear icon. Then tap “+ Add Columns” at the bottom of the screen to display all available categories/columns. Tap to expand a category. Tap a column to add to (or remove from) your Portfolio.

In one of the versions of the solution released earlier this year, Interactive Brokers introduced a new FX Conversion tool, designed to simplify managing one’s currency balances. Also, traders got the ability to close a currency balance directly from either the Account or Portfolio screen.
