Rick Steves

Jon Light (Devexperts), Henry Price (GCEX), and John Willock (dxFeed) will be offering their insights and Nikolai Isayev (FinanceFeeds) will moderate the discussion. The webinar is on September 16th. Save the date!

Devexperts, the provider of financial software for brokerages, exchanges, and wealth management firms, will be holding a free webinar to take brokers step by step on how to successfully launch crypto offering to retail investors.

The emerging asset class has taken the world by storm and brokers can no longer sit on the sidelines. FOMO – fear of missing out – has truly been passed on to brokerage firms as not only client onboarding but also client retention is at stake.

The webinar will have speakers from Devexperts, dxFeed, and GCEX guiding brokers through the setup of a crypto trading solution: technology and payments integration, pricing and liquidity, risk and data management, contract settlement, and more.

How to go about it – whether building in-house or partnering with a platform provider – will also be covered during the webinar that is addressed to:

– Established and startup cryptocurrency brokers and crypto exchanges

– Stock and Forex/CFD brokers

– Fintech and cryptocurrency projects

The webinar will explore the digital asset industry in-depth, from its origins to protocol differences, reliable data feeds, regulatory requirements, the proliferation of / or / industry occupation by MetaTrader, and security.

It will also be most interesting to understand the key differences between Crypto CFDs, Crypto Spot, and Crypto Perpetuals in terms of popularity, risk management, and profitability for brokers.

Brokers who wish to introduce a crypto offering should also be aware of forks and airdrops and how they impact trading and settlement on crypto offerings today.

Jon Light (Devexperts), Henry Price (GCEX), and John Willock (dxFeed) will be offering their insights. Nikolai Isayev (FinanceFeeds) will be moderating the discussion.

“During the webinar, I will explain to our viewers how the origins of the crypto exchange platforms left a footprint on today’s digital exchanges”, said Jon Light, VP of Trading Solutions at Devexperts. “This will help us recognise some of the nuances with adding crypto to your brokerage.”

“I specialise in crypto and digital assets at GCEX. Brokers must be aware of limitations and core requirements in order to provide the best liquidity sourcing and delivery possible”, said Henry Price, Quant & Digital Assets Specialist at GCEX. “Having begun my career in the crypto industry, I’d like to explain a few nuances of the market and asset class in general, how they differ from traditional markets, and how to capitalise on opportunities at an institutional and regulated level.”

Nikolai Isayev, Finance Feeds Editor-in-Chief added “I will be moderating this webinar about cryptocurrency technology for brokers as an unbiased editor from Finance Feeds, a trading industry news media. Together with the speakers and listeners, we will be aiming to make it educational, so you, our audience, will not be disappointed! Prior to the webinar, send in your questions to me directly on Linkedin, and I will try to embed them into our agenda. Use this chance to shape our discussion and hear from three trading technology specialists on the spot!”

The cryptocurrency market is estimated to be worth nearly $2 trillion and $120 billion exchanged in the last 24 hours, according to market cap. That is 6% in a day.

Volatility in digital assets is extremely high. Apart from stablecoins, the top 10 cryptos by market cap have seen their prices explode by up to 100% in the last month alone, exception made to Solana (SOL) which tripled its price since July 17.

As investors tend to flock toward volatile trading instruments, it is no wonder that crypto has grown so much in popularity among retail clients.

That becomes clear when analyzing the “Most Active Instruments” table on Investing.com, one of the most popular financial sites catering to retail traders. Bitcoin ranks #3, only below the EUR/USD and Gold.

Ethereum, Ripple’s XRP, and Dogecoin also rank pretty high in a list that includes Forex. Indices, Commodities, Stocks, Bonds, and ETFs.
