Electronic trading and algorithmic technology provider Horizon Software has announced that PT Korea Investment And Sekuritas Indonesia (KIS Indonesia) has implemented the Horizon Order Management System (OMS).

The cutting-edge platform by Horizon is set to transform KIS Indonesia’s trading operations, enhancing efficiency and market responsiveness.

A unified platform for CARE, DMA, and algo flows

The Horizon OMS platform boasts a comprehensive suite of advanced trading solutions, including a unified platform for CARE, DMA, and algo flows, and capabilities for both principal and agency trading. Furthermore, it offers multi-asset OMS functionalities and advanced trading support. A notable feature of this platform is “Horizon Extend,” which provides customization options for algorithms tailored to specific trading needs.

Jay (Jong In) Hong, Director of Equity at KIS Indonesia, said: “The deployment of the Horizon OMS platform marks a significant milestone in our journey toward enhancing trading capabilities and delivering unparalleled services to our clients. With this advanced technology, we are well-equipped to navigate the dynamic landscape of the financial market, ensuring efficiency and reliability in our trading operations,” he said.

Emmanuel Faure, Head of APAC Sales at Horizon, added: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with KIS Indonesia, a testament to their commitment to innovation and excellence in the financial services sector. The implementation of the Horizon OMS platform further strengthens their position in the market, allowing for seamless and efficient trading operations, and reaffirms our dedication to providing cutting-edge technology solutions to empower financial institutions worldwide.”

Horizon strengthening presence in the APAC region

The relationship between KIS Indonesia and Horizon began in 2019 with a collaboration to “market make” covered warrants on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange. This partnership flourished over time, expanding in 2021 with the deployment of Horizon for ETF Market Making on the SEHK. This long-standing collaboration underscores Horizon’s commitment to its APAC client base, helping them leverage advanced trading technologies in a market with burgeoning demand.

The integration of Horizon’s OMS in KIS Indonesia’s operations represents a pivotal shift in their trading capabilities. This advanced system is expected to streamline various aspects of trading, improving efficiency and response to market changes.

This development also signals Horizon’s strengthening presence in the APAC region, as they continue to provide cutting-edge solutions to meet the increasing demand for advanced trading technology.
