Lloyds Banking Group unveils Board Committee changes

Alan Dickinson, Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director, has been appointed as a member of the Responsible Business Committee.

Lloyds Banking Group today announced the appointment of Alan Dickinson, Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director, as a member of the Responsible Business Committee. The appointment is effective October 1, 2020.

Alan Dickinson

Alan Dickinson is a highly regarded retail and commercial banker having spent 37 years with the Royal Bank of Scotland, most notably as Chief Executive of RBS UK, and more recently as a Non-executive Director of Nationwide Building Society and Chairman of its Risk Committee.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Royal Statistical Society. He has an MBA from the Manchester Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Birmingham.

Alan Dickinson is the Chairman of Urban&Civic plc and a Non-Executive Director of the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Also today, Lloyds announced that when Robin Budenberg joins the Group as a Non-Executive Director on October 1, 2020 he will serve as a member of the Nomination and Governance Committee, Board Risk Committee, Remuneration Committee and Responsible Business Committee.
