Mark Lenhard has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Zepz Group, the money transfer service provider behind two leading global payments brands: WorldRemit and Sendwave

The new chief executive joins Zepz Group from Bill.com, where he was Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer of Invoice2go, a software platform that empowers independent, service-oriented small businesses to grow and manage their payments.

His career includes helping spin Magento out of eBay, ultimately selling the business to Adobe. Other roles within the financial services industry includes executive positions at JPMorgan Chase and PayPal where he was Head of Global Strategy, and launched several entrepreneurial ventures.

In the meantime, WorldRemit has been very active in expanding its global footprint across emerging markets, namely Zimbabwe (in partnership with Hello Paisa), Jamaica (in partnership with JMMB Money Transfer), Bangladesh (in partnership with BRAC Bank and bCash), as well as Rwanda, Uganda, Cameroon, and Zambia (in partnership with MTN Mobile Money).
