Nicolette Yuen returns to Blackwell Global

Just one month after leaving Asia-Pacific focused retail FX brokerage Blackwell Global, Nicolette Yuen has returned to the company as Marketing Manager, demonstrating that clearly, some opportunities in life are too good to pass up.

Ms. Yuen initially joined Blackwell Global as Art Director and Graphic Designer in September 2012 at the company’s office in Singapore, shortly after its establishment by CEO and proprietor Michael Chai in 2010.

In August 2013, Ms. Yuen became responsible for Corporate Communications at Blackwell Global, working internationally with widely publicized market analysts Steven Knight and Ross Woodfield, both based in New Zealand, in order to generate market-related analysis and content which has for many years been prominent among FX trading periodicals.

Prior to leaving the company last month, Ms. Yuen was responsible for managing communications between Blackwell Global’s 9 offices, as well as managing relationships between media partners, channels and press for brand exposure.

Indeed, Blackwell Global is one of the most prolific companies in terms of having generated a successful business network in mainland China, its network of introducing brokers (IBs) being one of the very largest in China, and is represented across many second tier development towns which are epicenters as far as FX brokerage business is concerned.

Ms. Yuen’s return to the company represents a promotion to the position of Marketing Manager, and in her own enthusiastic style, Ms. Yuen explained today to FinanceFeeds “It’s great to be back! I am putting a lot of effort in, and very soon some bigger marketing initiatives will come into play.”

Ms. Yuen was educated at Singapore Institute of Management , where she graduated in 2016 with a degree in Communications. Previously she obtained a Diploma in Visual Communication from Temasek Polytechnic and is fluent in English, Chinese and Cantonese.

It speaks volumes about a company when a very highly skilled former employee returns just a short time after leaving, just as much as it does about the skill level of the indivudal concerned and indeed, Nicolette’s return is one to be sure to provide a beneficial outcome for both sides.
