OANDA Japan adds CFDs on stock indices to offering
The expanded offering includes CFDs on major indices such as the Nikkei 225 and Dow 30.
Online trading company OANDA Japan is expanding its offering via the addition of contracts for difference (CFDs) on stock indices.
The company will start stock index CFD trading from Monday, June 1, 2020. A total of 16 instruments will be added, including major stock indexes in Europe, America (four US stock indices are in the lineup) and Asia. The additions include CFDs on indices like the Nikkei 225 and Dow 30.
To make use of the new trading instruments, the clients of OANDA Japan need to open a CFD sub-account on the Tokyo server. After the scheduled maintenance is completed on May 30, traders can log in to “My Page”, select “Create MT4 Sub Account” or “Create MT5 Sub Account” in “Account Management [CFD]”, and then proceed.
Let’s recall that earlier this year OANDA Japan launched MetaTrader 5 (MT5). The live launch was announced shortly after the brokerage introduced the MT5 platform to demo account holders in December 2019.
The decision to add MetaTrader 5 to OANDA’s range of trading platforms was made in direct response to requests from clients, further driving home the firm’s commitment to addressing the needs of active traders and expanding its range of products. The MT5 platform will also be made available in other geographies over the coming months, the company has promised.
