Increasing adoption of play-and-earn gaming

Oasys is working to increase the adoption of play-and-earn gaming, in collaboration with major publishers like SEGA and Bandai Namco. This model focuses on leveraging blockchain technology to enhance gaming experiences rather than solely earning.

The blockchain gaming specialist recently announced a series of updates for its blockchain gaming ecosystem, featuring collaborations with leading game developers like Ubisoft, double jump.tokyo, MIXI, DMM.com, BLOCKSMITH&Co., Enish Co., Ltd., and Digital Entertainment Asset Pte. Ltd. These partnerships aim to develop immersive and rewarding blockchain gaming experiences.

To support early-stage projects in gaming decentralized applications, infrastructure, and studios, Oasys launched the Oasys Ecosystem Fund. This fund will invest in various digital assets and provide financial and strategic support to emerging projects.

Oasys raised $20 million USD in working capital and established partnerships with companies like GroundX and KakaoTalk via Klip Wallet SDK. This funding is intended to be used over the next six years.

The firm also introduced the Oasys Passport, a wallet app designed to simplify entry into the Web3 gaming arena. This wallet is intended to be user-friendly and is tailored to the needs of gamers and developers within the Oasys ecosystem.

The Oasys platform features a two-layer blockchain design – the Hub Layer and the Verse Layer, aimed at providing stability and scalability for gaming developers. Oasys uses a multi-token economy based on its native token, OAS, and also includes Verse Token, Game Token, and Dapps Token.
