abdelaziz Fathi

Ox Securities, the trading name of ASIC-regulated brokerage Ruizean Markets, has secured the services of Waleed Salah, who joined the Australian company in the role of its head of sales for the MENA region.

Salah leaves a short tenure of 11 months at UK-based broker Valutrades Limited, where he held an analogous role since June 2021. Over the last 10 years, he has held a variety of sales positions with established brands within the foreign exchange industry.

His career encompasses other stops including working as head of Arabic office at Blackbull Markets, an Auckland-headquartered retail trading platform. Additionally, he served as a senior business associate with ATFX Global Markets (CY) Ltd.

Prior to that, a two year tenure as manager of middle east office at USGFX took Salah’s career between 2016 and 2018, preceded by nine months at RoboForex as sales team manager.

“I am delighted to be joining the leading brokerage OxSecurities, which has continued to invest in technology which will future proof its service for clients. The MENA traders are becoming increasingly sophisticated and looking for a trading partner who offers them high quality products and exceptional customer support. OxSecurities prides itself in offering the best products and customer service and I look forward to continuing that trend,” Salah told FinanceFeeds.

In his new position, Waleed will lead the sales team in charge of Middle East and Africa. His decade-long experience will be a great asset as OxSecurities aims to strengthen its position in different markets such as the Middle East and Africa. He brings with him a proven track record of success, and a comprehensive understanding of the needs of local customers.

OxSecurities is an ASIC regulated brokerage providing sophisticated and wholesale investors technology coupled with interbank liquidity. The broker offers trading in over 65 Forex, Commodities and Indices financial products on the world’s leading trading platform MT4.
