Paysend hires Yuri Biondo as CFO as payments platform expands in US and LATAM

Paysend has appointed Yuri Biondo as Chief Financial Officer for the global card-to-card transfer pioneer and global payments platform’s US business.

Yuri Biondo is an ex Ernst & Young auditor and American Express executive, who most recently played the role of Global Corporate Controller at Tribal Credit in Miami after a period as Vice President & Controller for Latin America and Caribbean for Visa.

Yuri Biondo to focus on Paysend – Televisa Univision partnership and regulatory tasks

Paysend is a payments firm that allows customers to send money to over 170 countries worldwide. The global end-to-end payment platform has its own global network of banks and international and local payment systems, including partnerships with the major international card networks Visa, Mastercard, and China Union Pay as a principal member and certified processor.

Bringing a wealth of financial services experience to Paysend, Yuri Biondo will help drive the delivery of the partnership between Paysend and Televisa Univision in the United States and Latin America.

Yuri  Biondo will also have regulatory responsibility in relation to Paysend’s Money Transfer licenses in the US.

Based in Miami, he will report directly to the Group CFO, Wilhelm Rohde, and work alongside US Region Managing Director, Jairo Riveros.

Growing the footprint established in North and South America
