Beeks Financial Cloud Services now available on Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric

This move will serve as a new sales channel for Beeks, allowing existing and new customers to directly purchase and connect to Beeks’ products and services via Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric.

Beeks Financial Cloud plc (AIM: BKS), a financial cloud infrastructure provider, is pleased to announce its cloud services are now available to be purchased via the Equinix Cloud Exchange™ Fabric, Equinix’s global interconnection platform for buying and selling cloud services.

The UK-based cloud technology company has been in close collaboration with Equinix since 2011, utilising Platform Equinix™ to provide low latency environments for financial markets clients.

This move will serve as a new sales channel for Beeks, allowing existing and new customers to directly purchase and connect to Beeks’ products and services via Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric, meaning that the Beeks service will be even more widely available to financial markets clients looking for Infrastructure as A Service providers. By leveraging Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric, Beeks will have the ability to easily extend their reach to a rapidly expanding global base of enterprise buyers via private connections that provide a more consistent user experience. Additionally, the software-defined networking (SDN) capabilities of ECX Fabric enable Beeks to dynamically connect its own infrastructure across Equinix locations or connect to any other customer on the Equinix global platform, regardless of location.

Available in 48 metros globally, Platform Equinix provides virtualized, private and direct connections to the world’s largest clouds such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Gordon McArthur, CEO of Beeks Financial Cloud, commented, “As a global leader in the provision of cloud infrastructure for automated trading, the ability for our customers to quickly and securely connect to our services is a key element of our growth strategy. We are delighted to now be able to add Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric as an automated means for customers to access our services.”

Russell Poole, MD, Equinix UK, commented, “Equinix provides a global platform for digital business by connecting customers physically and virtually around the world, enabling businesses like Beeks to securely deploy, directly connect and effectively scale its digital infrastructure globally. By leveraging Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric, enterprises will now be able to directly interconnect with Beeks in a secure, low latency, high performance environment.”
