Chairman of ATFX Board debates Chinese IB structure for global brokerages at iFX EXPO Asia 2018

During the forum, the speakers stated IBs and local industry experts will allow a glimpse into the secrets of success, as well as tips for finding the right partners and maintaining healthy and long lasting cooperation.

Chairman of the Board of AT Global Markets (UK) Limited (ATFX), Mr. Joe Li, was invited to be one of the esteemed panelists at iFX EXPO Asia, an event that took place in Hong Kong, on January 23-25, 2018.

A total of five professional panelists had been invited to share their insights on the topic of “Chinese IBs, Global Brokers: Making Partnerships Work” on January 25, 2018.

The panelists, who were industry leading specialists, covered key topics from the world of finance and trading in Asia. Some of the most relevant issues pertaining to China, specifically, covered by the panelists included topics like why international brokers prefer to work with partners in the country and also the changing dynamics of that aspect.

Local IBs play a crucial role in the market, but relationships can be challenging for both sides. It attracted over 100 industrial experts attended the forum.

Mr. Li has vast experience in the global forex markets, having held multiple management positions at global FX brokerages. He also has immense experience in institutional sales and business development in the Asia Pacific Region.

At the iFX EXPO, Mr. Li spoke extensively on the role of global brokers in managing partnerships within the industry. It was a great opportunity to present the strengths, philosophy and ethics of ATFX, while also sharing insights that the company has gained within the Asia markets.

During the forum, the speakers stated IBs and local industry experts will allow a glimpse into the secrets of success, as well as tips for finding the right partners and maintaining healthy and long lasting cooperation. Experts suggested various ways to prevent this and measures by which such cases can be tackled. They suggested solutions to brokers to assist them establish trust in the highly volatile Asia market and how they can differentiate prospective partners from trouble makers.
