In one of its first orders of business since its launch, IG US has entered into an agreement with Forest Park FX to kickstart its IB program.

After years of mergers, acquisitions and exits, the U.S. Forex industry is on the rise again. On Wednesday February 27, 2019, IG Group formally announced its new CFTC-regulated Forex Brokerage, IG US, is officially open. In one of its first orders of business since its launch, IG US has entered into an agreement with Forest Park FX – an NFA-regulated introducing broker – to kickstart its IB program.

Since 2013, Forest Park FX has emerged as one of the top Forex introducing brokers in the world, servicing retail and institutional clients in partnership with many of the industry’s top brokers and offering clients, among other value propositions, a rare combination of high touch service and reduced costs of trading.

Justin Hertzberg

Forest Park FX CEO Justin D. Hertzberg, Esq. commented, “When I started Forest Park FX years ago, I wanted to bring integrity and service back to the FX industry. And to do that, we needed to work with brokers that shared our vision and ethics. IG Group has been one of the premier brokerage firms in the world for over 40 years and is known for its professionalism, as much as it is for reliable trading platforms and outstanding pricing. Working with IG here in the U.S. is a natural fit for Forest Park FX and their offering will be undoubtedly well received by our clients and the larger U.S. trading public.”

Forest Park FX has worked with IG Group in Europe since 2017.

When asked about engaging with Forest Park FX, IG US CEO Rupert Osborne stated, “Entering the US Forex market represents a great opportunity for IG. In addition to our own marketing outreach, we wanted to work with top introducing brokers to both spread the word about our offering. Given Forest Park FX’s reputation for adding value to clients and our prior experience with them in Europe, they were always at the top of our list. We are thrilled to have finalized our agreement with them and welcome Forest Park FX as IG’s first introducing broker partner.”
