FX industry veteran Paul Kiff becomes Global Head of Trading at AxiTrader

Starting out as a Junior Trader in 1986 Mr accumulated more than 2 decades of experience trading Financial Futures products during which he headed up trading teams on the London Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE) for the likes of Merrill Lynch, Dean Witter and MAN Financial.

New addition brings more than 30 years of trading experience to role

Global Forex broker AxiTrader has appointed industry veteran Paul Kiff to its London team as the new Global Head of Trading.

Mr Kiff’s appointment is part of AxiTrader’s continuing push to solidify its global position.

The company, which began in Australia nearly a decade ago and has long had a major presence in the UK, has been growing rapidly in recent years, launching significant operations in key regions around the world and expanding its product portfolio.

Paul’s extensive experience, amassed over 30 years in the industry, will be a key component of ensuring the strength and stability in AxiTrader’s Trading Desk operations as the company continues to further its reach in both existing and emerging markets.

Paul traded over events that impacted market volatility greatly such as Black Monday and the Stock market crash of 87, the fall of the Berlin Wall in 89 and Black Wednesday when the UK left the ERM in 92. Having built up such a comprehensive knowledge of the trading industry, he played a hands-on role in helping several startups to become successful MT4 brokers.

On the appointment, AxiTrader’s CEO, Rajesh Yohannan says, “There are a lot of critical aspects of running a modern broker, from the technology requirements to the service clients get, but trading and risk management is very much still at the heart of what we do. That’s why having Paul join us to lead our trading team is such great news for the company.

“He has a deep understanding of the industry which will naturally benefit our day to day operations, but his knowledge and mentorship will also help our younger traders develop their understanding of the industry and ensure AxiTrader becomes an even stronger business.”

Paul will be based in AxiTrader’s London office where he will lead all of AxiTrader’s global Trading Desk operations.
