IS Prime Reports Continued Growth

Maria Nikolova

The financials for IS Prime’s y/e 2018 show operating profit at £5.7m and net assets at £7.7m.

IS Prime has reported strong financials, with an increase in turnover y/e 31 March 2018. Reported figures from the FCA regulated broker show a rise from £16.6m y/e 2017 to £17.2m y/e 2018.

The financials for IS Prime’s y/e 2018 show operating profit at £5.7m and net assets at £7.7m. These figures relate to a year in which headcount has doubled and IS Prime has invested significantly in its technology.

IS Prime became part of the broader ISAM Capital Markets group during this reporting cycle. ISAM Capital Markets encapsulates IS Prime Ltd, IS Prime Hong Kong and IS Risk Analytics.

Raj Sitlani, Managing Partner, IS Prime explains, “As we are now a larger entity, part of ISAM Capital Markets, we have restructured our financials across the group. Index Swaps, for example, which were previously included in IS Prime’s figures are now largely accounted for out of our Hong Kong-based business; and our risk consultancy and technology services come out of IS Risk Analytics. This means that comparisons with previous IS Prime accounts filed at Companies House are meaningless.

“Whilst we do not disclose ISAM Capital Markets financials, I can confirm that we have shown demonstrable growth across all areas of the business, with strong operating profits and significant net assets across the group. In an increasingly competitive market, we are very proud of the fact that we have exceeded our targets and continued to gain market share, reinforcing our position as a global market leader in the Prime of Prime industry.

“We have consolidated the business after a huge growth spurt and shown a strong uptick whilst also re-investing profits back into the organisation. We experienced a number of successive record months in terms of trading volumes, grew business with existing clients and attracted new clients across all key territories. We have a talented team, an exceptional offering and a wide breadth of service which puts us in a very strong position for continued growth.”

IS Prime provides institutional clients with multi-asset execution across Tier 1 aggregated liquidity venues together with Prime Brokerage services and cutting edge front to back technology. The London-based, FCA regulated firm is part of ISAM Capital Markets, which also includes IS Prime Hong Kong and IS Risk Analytics.
