Income&, a marketplace investment platform powered by prime-rated mortgages, today announced its launch from Alpha into Beta. Income& are the pioneers behind a unique product called PRIMO™, which stands for Prime-Rated Individual Mortgage-backed Obligations. PRIMOs™ are fully transparent, alternative investment options already attracting strong demand from RIAs and individual accredited investors. Unlike traditional fixed-income options, PRIMOs™ offer lower risk and yet feature yields of 6% or better, with levels of transparency and customization unlike other products on the market. Through the beta launch of the platform, San Francisco-based Income& intends to energize a stagnant fixed-income market by developing a simple, safer, and transparent option within a constantly evolving market.

Brad Walker, CEO of Income& said, “We are thrilled to launch into Beta, finally offering PRIMOs™ to accredited investors eager to find good returns on a lower risk fixed income product. We have put together an extraordinary team of entrepreneurs and financial industry experts to ensure we are offering a product that the market needs and can fully trust, and today we are prepared to show a testing audience what we have developed.”

For the Beta launch, Income& has developed a simplified interface that allows investment advisors and accredited investors to easily register and purchase PRIMOs™. The user-friendly, 3-step process allows investors to fund their accounts and begin building a fixed-income portfolio in rapid succession.

“Our Beta launch is a stepping stone toward the forthcoming full-scale launch of the Income& platform, which we expect to happen over the next few months. Existing investors on our platform have told us they are already impressed by the site and by PRIMOs™, the unique fixed income product that we offer. Based on requests from current customers for even more options for diversification, we are constantly adding inventory to meet demand, and look forward to making final tweaks before full launch,” said Walker.

Income&’s new, interactive website allows for an increased level of engagement and experience, where users can customize how their fixed-income portfolios of PRIMOs.

Income&, founded in 2015, is presenting at the upcoming FinTech Sandbox Demo Day in Boston on November 1. In August 2016, Income& was selected as one of 11 startups to join the competitive program, following appearances as finalists at the SXSW Accelerator Pitch competition in Austin, TX and at PitchIt competition at LendIt 2016 in San Francisco, CA.

“The Income& team is determined to create a game-changing product for fixed income investors. We feel fortunate to have received outstanding feedback so far, but are excited to acquire additional client feedback during our beta and at the Fintech Sandbox Demo Day,” Walker concluded.
