Saxo Bank rolls out new platform SaxoInvestor
The platform aims to give the growing investor segment the opportunity to build long-term portfolios across stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and SaxoSelect portfolios.
Saxo Bank, an expert in fintech, multi-asset trading and investment, has earlier today announced the launch of SaxoInvestor, a new user-friendly and simpler platform tailored to the growing segment of investors.
The platform aims to give the growing investor segment the opportunity to build long-term portfolios across stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and SaxoSelect portfolios.
The platform is initially rolled out in Denmark with the international launch planned for the first quarter of 2019. Furthermore, SaxoInvestor will be an integral part of the Group’s white label and partner offering across markets as the platform is developed with a dedicated focus on flexibility and customisation.
The platform provides access to cash products solely and has a new feature called investment themes. The themes cover several long term investment trends such as robotics, electrical vehicles, ESG, and cyber security. The investment themes section is dynamic and offers investors with inspiration and a curated list of relevant stocks, mutual funds and ETFs that provide the best exposure to the long term trend.
SaxoInvestor is built on the same technology as Saxo’s other platforms, SaxoTraderGO and SaxoTraderPRO , but has a simpler interface that caters for the needs of the typical investor.
FinanceFeeds reported live from London when SaxoTraderPRO was launched in April this year. SaxoTraderPRO is positioned between some of the very advanced institutional-only platforms that currently exist and high-end retail trading environments. This has been engineered into the platform so that advanced traders get some very good functionality, but also so that institutional clients get advanced functionality without the monthly fees such as per seat licensing that are often attached to purely institutional platforms, therefore all clients are able to use it. Despite its fully democratic availability to all clients, SaxoTraderPRO remains the choice for advanced or professional and institutional traders, whereas SaxoTraderGO should be the choice for the larger market, and for traders that concentrate on one specific type of trading.
We are keen to see how SaxoInvestor fits within Saxo’s offering.
