Schroders names Andy Chorlton new Head of Fixed Income

Philippe Lespinard is stepping down from his role as Head of Fixed Income.

London

Schroders has announced that Andy Chorlton has been named as Schroders Head of Fixed Income. Following a decade in this role, Philippe Lespinard is stepping down as Head of Fixed Income.

A succession plan will take effect from October 1, 2020, and will be completed by the end of March 2021 upon Philippe Lespinard’s departure. Andy Chorlton will report to Charles Prideaux, Global Head of Investment, and will join Schroders Group Management Committee.

Most recently, Andy Chorlton has been Schroders’ Head of US Multi-Sector & Fixed Income Solutions, having spent the past 20 years specialising in Fixed Income investing. He joined Schroders New York office in 2013 following the acquisition of STW Fixed Income in the US and returned to the UK in August 2019.

New York-based Lisa Hornby, Fixed Income Fund Manager, will take over Andy Chorlton’s responsibilities as Head of US Multi-Sector Fixed Income, supported by Schroders’ long-standing team and experienced portfolio managers Neil Sutherland, Julio Bonilla and Ryan Mostafa.

Lisa Hornby will lead the team from New York and continue to report to Andy Chorlton.
